There’s something sacred about brokenness. Not the kind that leaves us bitter, but the kind that brings us to our knees; the kind that makes us aware of how deeply we need Yahweh’s grace.
I’ve always felt that there’s value in broken things. Perhaps this belief was fostered by the story from the pages of my favorite book. As a child I loved the story of “The Dirty Old Teddy Bear” written by Enid Blyton. The story centers on a once-loved teddy bear, now old and dirty, who feels forgotten and discarded.
When a kind child discovers him and offers love and care, the teddy bear learns that his worth was never truly lost. This heartwarming tale emphasizes the themes of restoration, unconditional love, and the enduring value found in what the world may overlook.
These are the traits that I have found in Yahweh. He does His finest work on the parts of us we’d rather hide. The truth is, the cracks in our stories aren’t shameful. They’re where the light breaks through and redemption begins. When Jesus met the woman at the well, He didn’t dismiss her broken past. He met her in it. Spoke life over it. And through her, a whole town came to know the Living Water.
What if our most painful places are the very ones God wants to use for His glory?

This platform exists to give voice to those who have walked through the fire, sat in the shadows, and emerged from brokenness with light in their hearts.
